It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Soon the bells will start. And the thing that will make them ring is the carol that you sing. Right within your heart!

Have you ever noticed that when you move to a new house, you have to reorganize all the various and sundry Christmas things you’ve collected over your entire lifetime?

That’s what happening this year in the Ochs family home. Everything seemed to fit perfectly in the old house… But, this is the first time in 6.5 years that we actually have lights back on the house – I wasn’t sure the lights would even work since they’ve been in storage for so long. Last year, we barely had a tree much less access to all my Christmas collections…

Right now, I’m still working on finding room for the various Christmas trees that make up our tree forest. They may have to wait until next year. It’s really hard when you down size from 4,000 to 2,000 sq. feet. I’m making a very dedicated effort; however, there’s still at least 10 boxes of Christmas decorations in the storage unit.

Where did I put that collection of Nativities?

My husband says I’m obsessive compulsive. I’m sure it goes back to my childhood and the fact that my favorite color is red…

Luckily the snowmen don’t come out until January.

Merry Christmas to All this Holiday Season!

XOXO
